Nestled in the heart of Meriden, @theland is a 3-acre haven where animals and nature thrive together. Originally purchased with the intention of keeping horses, this special plot has since become home to not only horses, but rabbits, pigs, chickens, ducks, alpacas and bees—each with their own story to share. We nurture the natural habitats of our animals and love inviting others to experience this unique space.

Our one-to-one experiences and educational programs offer a chance to connect with and learn about our animals, from their backgrounds to their everyday lives. With over 25 years of collective experience in animal care, our team is dedicated to promoting animal welfare, sustainability, and land management. Whether you’re interested in animals, horticulture, or just the beauty of the great outdoors, we promise you’ll leave with new knowledge and a deeper appreciation for the world around us.
